Mountain Grass Unit, from Birmingham, Alabama, is a young quartet redefining bluegrass with a fresh narrative. Comprised of Drury Anderson (mandolin, vocals), Luke Black (guitar, vocals), Josiah Nelson (fiddle, vocals), and Sam Wilson (bass, vocals), they blend tradition with bold exploration. Their journey began with a shared musical passion, forming a sound that merges bluegrass with country, jazz, funk, rock, and metal influences. Their debut EP, "Runnin’ From Trouble," released in 2024, showcases their original music and inventive covers, inspired by legends like Tony Rice and Billy Strings.Recorded at Nashville’s Hartland Studios, and produced by Mike Harris (Old Crow Medicine Show), the EP captures their live energy. The leading single, “Hey Mama,” explores life's transitions with inquisitive lyrics, while “Cicada Song” and “Smugglin’” highlight their funk and traditional sides.2024 marked a turning point with performances at Renewal, Del Fest and Winter Wondergrass, broadening their audience and deepening their musical exploration. With plans for extensive touring, festival sets, and new music, Mountain Grass Unit is ready to share their luminous sound with the world, each performance a new chapter in their unfolding story. An emerging progressive bluegrass band from the Chicago area, The Three Sons captivates audiences with their unique blend of traditional bluegrass and modern influences. From high-energy live shows to captivating studio recordings, The Three Sons is dedicated to sharing their love for bluegrass with the world. Connor O'Shea, 21, is an emerging talent in the folk-rock and singer-songwriter scene who encapsulates the essence of heartfelt storytelling through his music. Born and raised amidst the musical tapestry of Chicago, his upbringing was steeped in the rich cultural heritage of the city's diverse music scene. He was Influenced by the likes of John Prine, Counting Crows, and Noah Kahan, he discovered his passion for songwriting at a young age. Now based in Boston, Connor continues to refine his craft at Berklee College of Music.

Scott Thunes is best known for his long tenure in Frank Zappa's band during the 1980s, playing bass, singing background vocals, and serving as the official “Clonemeister,” running rehearsals for the Zappa band. He also recorded and toured with Zappa's sons Dweezil and Ahmet, and his music career has included work with the Waterboys, The Mother Hips, and Fear, among others.Robert "Bobby" Martin is a highly accomplished American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, known for his work with Frank Zappa and his career as a session musician, composer, and musical director, as well as directing his own music production company. He is a sought - after keyboardist, horn player, and vocalist, having worked with numerous artists, including Bette Midler, Paul McCartney, and Etta James, and has composed music for film, television, and advertising.Ray Shirley White Sr., a soul and rock guitarist best known for his vocals and rhythm guitar in Frank Zappa's touring bands from 1976 to 1984, also formed a vocal harmony partnership with Ike Willis on later tours. He is featured on numerous Zappa albums and videos, including "Zappa In New York," "You Are What You Is," "Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch," and "The Torture Never Stops".

Martyrs holds a very special place in the heart of Tributosaurus. It is here that we began as an idea, in the weeks leading up to our debut there in August of 2002. Join us on July 10th and 11th to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of Chicago’s best rock club, as Tributosaurus becomes The Who. There are many good reasons The Who was our first ever incarnation, and remains a beloved anniversary choice. Pete Townsend wrote innumerable anthems that are incredibly satisfying to play, and flat out emotional to hear. We’ll go early to the young Mods, get operatic with selections from Tommy and Quadrophenia, delve heavily into the near-perfect Who’s Next, and give you deep cut surprises from other eras of excellence.Tributosaurus becomes The Who to celebrate Martyrs’ amazing 30 years. Brothers Robert and Davor palos named their Chicago-based band "ode" as a way to memorialize their Bosnian roots; the name is translated from Bosnian: "to leave". Life was given in Bosnia, but renewed in Chicago. Ode embraces American grit in their smoldering grooves and moody atmosphere while staying rooted in the deep earth of Balkan history. Propelled by the rhythm section of drummer Daniel crane, bassist Jonathan Kolar and rhythm guitarist Nikola Dokic, ode manifests a soaring spirit of love, loss, trial and triumph.

Vibraphonist, percussionist, and songwriter Mike Dillon is an eclectic, highly adventurous musician with a sound steeped in post-bop jazz, funk, and avant-garde rock. Drawing upon such wide-ranging influences as , , , and , he has led and co-led numerous ensembles, including the , , and . As a sideman, Dillon has also worked with a varying cadre of acclaimed performers, such as ' , , , and . In addition, he has released his own genre-bending albums, including 2007's Battery Milk with his band, 2014's New Orleans jazz- and R&B-influenced Band of Outsiders, and 2020's inventive covers album Rosewood. In 2021, he released an ambitious, deeply personal trilogy of albums: Shoot the Moon, Suitcase Man, and 1918.

Joseph Minde-Berman, also known as Jojomber, is a singer-songwriter from Yellow Springs, Ohio. He draws inspiration from pop, rock, and folk in his own genre he calls ”easy pop”, Minde-Berman resides in New York City, going to school, writing songs, and playing live shows with a band of his best pals: Gideon Helf (bass), Joe Cho (guitar), and Arthur Caplan (drums). Uhnion is a puddle folk duo based in New York City. The band was formed by Gideon Helf and Sofia Canale, two friends who met in music school. With their minimal two guitar-two vocal setup, they interweave Laurel Canyon singer/songwriter aesthetics with sharp hooks and witty lyrics, putting their own modern touch on a classic American musical style.

Alaina Stacey co-founded the Nashville-based Americana group, Maybe April, appearing onstage at the Wilshire Theatre in Los Angeles, alongside Bonnie Raitt, Kris Kristofferson, and The Goo Goo Doll’s Johnny Reznick as part of a GRAMMY week performance called A Song Is Born. Their Audiotree video went viral, and it remains one of Audiotree’s most popular videos. With Maybe April, she opened for Brandy Clark and Sarah Jarosz, performed at Pilgrimage Music Festival, Merlefest, SXSW, CMA Fest, and other festivals, and released an EP and record, The Other Side, which was produced by her brother Julian. The band won “Americana Group of the Year'' two years in a row at the Arkansas Country Music Awards. On her upcoming EP, “DAY,” which is the second in the three-part series EP series, Stacey hones in on active energy, the feeling of walking into broad daylight with a determination to right all of one’s wrongs. Recorded and produced by Evan Redwine in Nashville and Brian Deck in Chicago, Stacey’s EP “DAY” features a bright and sunny sonic outlook, despite many of the songs being drenched in heartbreak and lyrical melancholy. In her latest single, “I Would,” Alaina works with an upbeat and shiny pallet to bring hard truths into the harsh light of day. Nashville-based artist Madeleine Kelson has been writing and performing music since childhood, developing a unique, country-leaning style of Americana laced with elements of rock and blues. Inspired by artists like Patty Griffin, Jason Isbell, and Brandi Carlile, she’s a dynamic and down-to-earth storyteller, using her own life experiences as fodder for poetic, yet accessible, lyrics. Madeleine has been featured twice on NPR, has viral TikToks featuring her single, The Way I Do, with a combined 1.4 Million+ views. She is featured on Spotify editorial playlists, including Queer As Folk, Emerging Americana, and Fresh Finds Folk. With her April 2022 launch of her debut solo album, While I Was Away, Kelson blends haunting melodies and driving percussion with a particularly human warmth. Lydia Cash writes candidly about her life, forging songs as beacons of authenticity in which she reveals the innermost workings of her heart’s loves and losses. Her delicate melodies woven with alt-rock angst showcase this native Alabamian/Chicago transplant’s dichotomy of grit and sweetness.Cash’s upcoming full-length album, “Violet,” is slated for release this fall.

Formed in 1983 by the Frazier brothers, the band has evolved from playing the streets of the French Quarter to playing festivals and stages all over the world. While committed to upholding the tradition of brass bands, they have also extended themselves into the realms of funk and hip-hop to create their signature sound. “Rebirth can be precise whenever it wants to,” says The New York Times, “but it’s more like a party than a machine. Ur Mom is a four-piece rock band from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Comprised of vocalist/rhythm guitarist Maura Wolf, lead guitarist Tommy Hinds, drummer Alex O’Malley, and bassist Andrew Vucsko-Cameron the band combines an eclectic set of influences including classical rock, blues, funk, folk, and others. The band has performed in and around the Chicagoland area at such notable venues and events as Subterranean, Beat Kitchen, Winnetka Music Festival Cobra Lounge, The Cubby Bear, Navy Pier, Gman Tavern, Liars Club, and others. Additionally, they competed in the 17th (2023) and 18th (2024) annual Bitter Jester Music Festival and placed as the Runners Up (2nd place) and Grand Champions (1st place) respectively and recently opened for ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Ravinia Festival. Fueled by catchy hooks and uplifting energy, Heat Above unleashes the kind of anthemic rock that’s fit for the stadium. Based near Flint, Michigan, the band consists of Brady Lott (vocals/guitar), Jack Davis (bass/vocals), and Jalon Swinton (drums). The collective bends genres between buzzing rock numbers, blazing punk, danceable instrumentals, and unique melodies. I’m a lifelong Wisconsinite & write, record, & produce all of my music at home in Milwaukee. I’ve been independently releasing as ‘Jacob Slade’ since 2019 and, since then, have shared three full-length albums, landed placements on Spotify’s juniper, Morning Acoustic, & ‘Fresh Finds’ playlists , and gotten to share my music with over a million (!!!) of you around the world. My music falls somewhere between indie-folk & dream-pop, which has led me to start defining my sound as ‘dream-folk’. I see dream-folk as music that feels ethereal, introspective, & nostalgic thanks to rich & textured soundscapes, tender acoustic elements, & pop sensibility. I also love to leave hidden sounds in my music (birds chirping, floor creaks, etc.) to help bring you further into my headspace & highlight the beauty I see in combining music with the sounds of day-to-day life. For live shows, I’m very fortunate to be joined by my good friends & bandmates: Austin Wood, Anthony Kopczynski, Bailey Fiste, and Jacob Olson. I’m currently working on my fourth full-length album with tentative release plans for May 2025.
