Chicago’s Volume 20 features 6 minutes and 40 seconds each of sign making artist Matthew Hoffman, Brit designer and recent MCA exhibitor Tim Parsons, advertising rock star Diane Jackson, meeting maker John Nawn, City employee, political wannabee and urban planner Andres Torres, design advocates Shared Practice (Felicia Ferrone and David Krell), and the crazy and bloodied Windy City Rollers featuring Minerva Damage. Celebrating the the symmetry of our 20th 20x20, returning PK Chicago alum will also feature. From Volume 1, bumping artist Callie Roach and young architect Marc Teer, Milwaukee filmmaker Ron Faiola (Volume 6) and mac n cheese duo Saya April Hillman and Pete Aiello (Volume 11), a true PK couple.The official poster of Volume 20 is designed by Object Design League’s, Michael Savona. A preview of Faiola’s latest movie "Wisconsin Supper Clubs" will precede the evening at 7:45. Artists, activists, musicians, writers, architects, politicians, chefs, and people defying description all grace the stage at PechaKucha Night which brings prominent and emerging creative minds together for an evening of lightning-fast presentations, networking and fun. The PechaKucha format, where a dozen or so presenters are given 20 slides each shown for 20 seconds to reveal their passions, work and inspirations, is now held in over 430 cities around the world. Chicago events are among the most popular, with over 300 people in attendance at each event. It's an amazing, riotous and amusing evening.
