Seven Day Run

Seven Day Run is now in the studio recording new songs as a follow-up to their previous releases including the full-length studio CD, What Drives (2006, Jack LeTourneau, Paragon Studios), live and studio DVD, Bootlegged in Chicago, (2005, Phil Castello, Tough Crowd Productions), full-length studio CD, Scars We Share (2002, Doug McBride, Josh Cutsinger, Gravity Studios), and live acoustic CD, Live at Uncommon Ground (2000, Blaise Barton), Seven Day Run stayed busy throughout the past few years by performing at numerous Chicago venues including Double Door, Hard Rock CafĂ©, House of Blues, Martyr’s, Metro, Schuba’s, Uncommon Ground, and regional touring with dates in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, Colorado and Alaska. While carefully navigating through the often consuming waters of external distractions, commitments and priorities, these new songs are a reflection of the changing sentiments and varied adventures throughout the recent writing and recording period. As a result, the music offers a wide-variety of styles and influences that range from Alternative Rock to Americana to Bluegrass-tinged Folk.The new songs are currently being recorded at Blueprint Collective Studios by Producer/Engineer Russ Miller. The new CD will be released in late 2013 by The Genuine Article Recording Company, an independent label based in Highland Park, IL. In anticipation of this release, Seven Day Run has returned to a busy touring schedule in support of the new music.The band includes Joe Avezzano on drums, Andy Goesel on bass guitar and harmony vocals, James Potter on percussion, Jay Stanek on lead guitar and Kevin McDonough on guitar and lead vocals.The Seven Day Run sound focuses on the fusion of striking melody lines, multi-layered harmony vocals and commanding rhythms, accompanied by passionate, insightful lyrics, all of which are featured in their dynamic, high-energy live performances.
