Sean Skyler

 Sean Skyler is a rising singer/songwriter from Chicago. He and his band have spent the past year winning over fans across the region, supporting national acts like Everclear, Art Alexakis, Clayton Senne, and Walk off the Earth. Last summer they took on the “Mix Festival" in Millennium Park (sponsored by WTMX 101.9 the Mix) and were selected for a back-to-school download promotion for unsigned artists with Target Stores/Mead Notebooks. This July, Sean Skyler and the Daymakers were selected to perform at the Chicago Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon.In 2012, Sean released his first full band EP titled Big Mistake (now on iTunes) with producer Michael Vail Blum (Goo Goo Dolls, Julian Lennon). With this release he quickly gained press and became a local radio/podcast favorite with features on Radio De Paul, Region Radio 98.3FM, Earphoria, and Chicago Acoustic Underground.Most recently, Sean began production on his first full length record with Wes Koz (Plain White T's, Wax on Radio) due out in the Fall of 2013. He's also hitting the show circuit, playing both intimate acoustic settings and bigger clubs with his full band.Ultimately he has hopes to continue building his fan base even in a struggling market. "I think these are the kind of songs people need to hear right now, positivity can be a contagious thing and it's that blind faith that has gotten me through the most difficult points in my life."
