Real Horns

REAL HORNS was formed to provide a creative outlet for some of Chicago’s busiest commercial musicians. Carey Deadman, Music Director, Arranger, and co-Lead Trumpet, has created and compiled arrangements from the greatest horn band literature of all time. Selections include music from “Blood, Sweat, & Tears”, “Chicago”, “Cold Blood”, “Seawind”, and “The Brecker Brothers” as well as current hits from Bruno Mars and “Snarky Puppy”. Carey is joined by Tim Burke (trumpet), Dan Johnson (trombone), and Jim Massoth (saxophones) in the horn section. The rhythm section includes Tom Logan (guitars and vocals), Tom Mendel (bass), Karl Montzka (keyboards), Jim Widlowski (drums), and Austin Deadman (percussion). REAL HORNS is honored to feature our incredible vocalist, Cheryl Wilson.
