The Mee-ow Band
The Mee-Ow Band is a high-energy cover band from Northwestern University. Comprised of Yara Nasr and Nayan Khambhla (vocals), Casey Weisman (keys), Avalon Bookstaver (guitar), Tom Hu (bass), and Jack Hartfelder (drums), they bring bold vocals, tight grooves, and a shared love of Raising Cane’s chicken fingers. Blending rock, R&B, country, and pop, they are known as “meeow band hottest group of people” on Fizz Northwestern (25 upvotes).
