Kings In Waiting

Roots rock reggae band Kings in Waiting brings you songs of life, love and rebirth. The band's first release entitled "Way" is now available worldwide. With a tight rhythm section at the core, lush horns, keyboards and guitars create vibrant atmospheres throughout the album. The vocals come to life with a tinge of heartache, supported by comforting and warm three part harmonies. Overall "Way" tells stories of where they've been and where they are going.  Kings in Waiting was born from the meeting of Jeff Burke, Josh Kahle, Jonathan Beverly and Mark Florence in Chicago 2011. During recording of their debut album, Derin Adeyemo, Darren Garvey and horn section Hornbread were added to the mix.  The Kings in Waiting's live band will further expand to feature Bill Cessna on keys, Asia Roberson on vocals and live horns.
