John Mead & Badlands (Springsteen set)

 John Mead and Badlands plays 1970s-era Springsteen with the passion and thunder the songs deserve. They have performed this set on Chicago-area stages like City Winery, Evanston SPACE, and the Old Town School. John is joined onstage by Alton Smith of Rachel Drew and the Bitter Roots, Chris Corsale of the Right Now, and other Chicago luminaries. Mead teaches at the Old Town School and has performed at many Chicago and area venues with "Heroes", a Bowie tribute, Strider (Led Zeppelin), Little Queens (Heart), as well as Rachel Drew and the Bitter Roots, Crumbs Off the Table, Mystery Train, and his own bands Coyotes and Angelus.
