Hannah Rand Band

Hannah Rand has been gaining acclaim as a singer/songwriter since she was 12, and has been an honors songwriting major at Belmont University for the last four years. On December 22 at Martyrs, Hannah will be celebrating the premier of an album that started as a senior project for her songwriting music degree. Called “Standing On Shoulders,” this collection is a fresh, thoughtful, emotionally moving new take on 6 songs from master songwriters Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Norah Jones and Adele, and 6 originals based on what she learned from each of them. Be the first to hear her perform these songs live with band members, the acclaimed Rob Clearfield, Patrick Mulcahy and Jon Deitemyer, along with some BGVs from Alaina Stacey and Olivia Harris.
