Atticus Lazenby Group

The Atticus Lazenby Group plays a fusion of jazz, funk, rock, hip-hop, and world music. Their sound consists of horns that proclaim catchy melodies over shifting guitar landscapes that rest on a rock-solid foundation of bass and drums. Formed in Chicago in 2014 by bassist/composer Atticus Lazenby, the ALGroup has performed at Martyrs', Tonic Room, the Whistler, Elastic Arts, and other venues around town. In 2016, they released their self-titled debut album, and are currently working on new material for a forthcoming second album.
