3NOW4 from New Orleans

He produced the award winning, Elevado for Astral Project, a group of which he is a founding member.Dave Easley’s most recent album, “Byways of the Moon” was selected for Bandcamp’s “Best Jazz in January 2022.”Dave has played with diverse artists such as Brian Blade (his first two Fellowship albums), Coco Robicheaux, Peter Rowan (“Dharma Blues”), Ruthie Foster (the grammy nominated, (“Let it Burn”).Internationally recognized American jazz composer and saxophonist, Edward Wilkerson, has been a major presence on the Chicago jazz scene for many years. He has played with such luminaries as the AACM Big Band, Roscoe Mitchell, Douglas Ewart, Chico Freeman, Geri Allen, and George Lewis, as well as with The Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Temptations, and Aretha Franklin.Journalist Peter Margasak has deemed drummer, Charles Rumback, “one of the most versatile and tasteful musicians in town, a player who moves easily between jazz, free improvisation, rock and folk communities.” continuing on to praise his hard work ethic, noting that he often collaborates with musicians who don’t live in Chicago.With Charles and Edward at hand, James and Dave are able to continue 3Now4’s audacious yet inviting music in Chicago.
