Wes John Cichosz (Record Release!)

Celebrating the release of his new album, The Moon Threads a Needle!  In The Moon Threads a Needle, guitarist/saxophonist/singer/songwriter Wes John Cichosz (Chee-Hoas) seamlessly weaves elements of rock, blues, jazz, and folk into an intensely personal album. This music has enough groove to satisfy any jam band festival-goer plus enough depth to engage the most critical of listeners. Gritty slide guitar and quirky saxophone pepper the sonic landscape, and acoustic guitar-driven songs are surrounded by lush winds and piano. Catchy grooves and melodies found on “Everybody Says” are balanced by a relentlessly dark undercurrent in the title track, “The Moon Threads a Needle.” In addition to recording and mixing, Wes’s musical fingerprints are everywhere – he plays most of the instruments on the record. The result is a microscopically unified sound with a new depth of nuance revealed upon each listen – touching both the emotional and intellectual core of the listener. At once familiar and unknown, Moon... is poetry perfectly framed by music.

Marcus Rezak’s Zappa X

Currently living in Los Angeles, CA and native of Chicago, Marcus Rezak has been performing and recording extensively with the legendary bassist/clonemeister for Frank Zappa 78-84, assistant composer to Georgio Moroder, and novelist, Mr. Arthur Barrow. In addition, Marcus is performing with Chad Wackerman drummer for FZ, Alan Holdsworth, Steve Vai, and more. Bringing forth the wisdom, experience, and approach gained from spending time with Barrow and Wackerman, Marcus Rezak’s Zappa X is a fusion of interpretation brought to light via a top pedigree Chicago musicians Chris Clemente (bass), Paul Mutzabaugh (Synth), Rick Vitek (Drums) or Rich Stitzel TBA, and Christian Rogala (per/vox).

The Big Ditties

“Voices like angels with mouth’s like sailors” and “so full of shit” are just some of the wonderful compliments from the fans of The Big Ditties. Their first video, “Mom Just Quit The Band” was picked up by Funny or Die and received 3,000 hits in the first few days. The trio of DJ K-Heyyy, Ad-Rik and Tu-PO deliver comedic music that crosses multiple genres and takes no prisoners. Whether they are being pampered on stage by their Love Slaves, or mashing up songs about venereal diseases, The Big Ditties stage antics are not for the faint of heart.
