 What's a 3-letter word for British, melodic, hyperactive pop music of the 80's and 90's? That's right, it's XTC! If you know them, you love them - and if you don't, you should. XTC was a ground-breaking band, and their infectious brand of intricate pop stands alone - they were true innovators. Their songs are complex and simple, hard to play and easy to listen to - all at once. XTC is simply one of the most creative and interesting bands of the post-new wave scene. Intricate arrangements, quirky but infectious melodies, incredible guitar work, and thoughtful lyrics - these guys had it all.We have done multiple volumes of XTC music in the past, and we have a lot of material to choose from. This is one of our very favorites, so there will be LOTS of music. We know that XTC is classified as a "niche" band, and we know a lot of you may be unfamiliar with their songs. We invite all of you to check out some music that will surprise you and may end up in your regular rotation before you know it. This show is a lot of fun, and very high energy, you'll love it!
