High South

Like a warm musical breeze that blows through California's hills and canyons - across its mystical high desert and into the heart of America - High South has captured the same evocative spirit that gave lift to such high soaring bands as the Byrds, CSNY and the Eagles.  Blending the poetry of Greenwich Village in the 60's with the unmistakeable harmony of Laurel Canyon in the 70's, the High South sound exudes the magic and timelessness of both these eras, while infusing a palpable new millennium sensibility.  High South band mates - Kevin Campos, Jamey Garner and Phoenix Mendoza - three gifted "lead singersongwriters" delivering one undeniable voice - are produced by Josh Leo.

Pearl

California Country Rock & Roll, Pearl Aday is following up her critically acclaimed debut record "Little Immaculate White Fox" in 2015 with "Heartbreak and Canyon Revelry". Pearl has joined forces once again with the venerable Jim Wilson, long time bassist for Daniel Lanois, Emmylou Harris, and the leader of his own successful groups, Motor Sister and Mother Superior. This new collaboration sinks it’s teeth into the California Country sound, with contributions from renowned guitarist Philip Sayce, the legendary Jay Dee Maness on pedal steel, Fred Mandel (Alice Cooper, Elton John, Queen) on keyboards, and was produced by Jay Ruston.

Jeff Massey (of Steepwater Band)

Jeff Massey is an American born songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and co-founding member of the Chicago based rock ‘n roll quartet The Steepwater Band. Since the band’s formation in 1998, Steepwater’s healthy recording catalog includes 7 full length albums, 3 live albums, and 2 EPs. The band is also a non-stop touring unit, performing close to 200 shows per year around the world, sharing stages with bands such as ZZ Top, Wilco, Gov’t Mule, Bad Company, and Buddy Guy, to name a few.  In addition to his work with The Steepwater Band, Massey is also a solo acoustic performer. His bare bones acoustic performances blur the the lines of musical category, incorporating delta blues, rock, country, and folk as the blueprint for his own original material. An acoustic setting allows his songs to be stripped down and improvised each night, creating new paths and direction with each unique performance.  Jeff Massey’s musical plans for the future include more recording and touring, both with The Steepwater Band, and as a solo acoustic performer.
