Roke

While the name has changed, the sound stayed the same. Bringing sounds from 60's rock to 70's soul to current day pop, Roke has played in and around Chicago since 2011. Formerly known as Tellstar/JumpSteady/ SaysoSix, the energy that Roke brings speaks for itself: loud, bluesy, and soulful. Bringing a mix of covers and originals, Roke promises one thing - we're going to have a great time on stage and you're going to have a great time listening to us

The Motions

The Motions are a stripped-down Rock band that officially started in 2013. The Motions came together when Steve Klein asked Aaron Rosenblatt if he wanted to get together and jam. Steve and Aaron have known each other and been playing music together since 1996.Sometime in 2013, Aaron and Steve were bonding over their love for the Ramones. Noticing that no one was playing music like the Ramones anymore Steve and Aaron decided they wanted to play Ramones songs. From time to time Steve and Aaron would get together and Steve would bring a new song that he had written. After they had about 12 songs in their repertoire, Aaron decided it was time to take the show on the road.In 2017, the Motions became the house band for June’s Inn on Western Ave. in Chicago. They played there consistently until the bar was sold. In 2018, the Motion started to get invited to play at the Elbo Room on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Since that time The Motions have played Bourbon on Division, Custer Fair in Evanston and Silvies in Chicago. In 2019, Hans Alex joined the band on Bass. Hans is an accomplished musician who cut his teeth in Chile. The Motions are very excited to have him on board.
