Citrus

Throughout the 1990’s Citrus brought their unique polyrhythmic sound and explosive energy to Chicago and Colleges throughout the Midwest. After a short 20 year hiatus, Citrus decided to reunite for one night at their favorite Chicago music venue, Martyrs'!  ONE NIGHT ONLY: CITRUS REUNION CONCERT!  Jason Miller – Vocals/Guitar, Michael Bizar – Guitars, Murph – Bass, Lexie Bloor – Vocals, Simon Sweet – Keyboards, Bob Garrett – Percussion, Larry Beers - Drums.

The Sweet Brothers

Combining tight knit sibling harmonies in the vein of the Everly Brothers with a diverse blend of electric and acoustic instruments, the Sweet Brothers have been fixtures of the Chicago music scene for over 20 years. Nimble and skilled at both guitar and keyboards, they have performed and recorded for dozens of acts including Underwater People, Freddy Jones Band, The Mighty Blue Kings, and Sugar Blue. Their version of the classic folk ballad “Colorado Trail” was chosen to be included on the Bloodshot Records “Old Town School of Folk Music Songbook” compilation alongside tracks by Steve Goodman, John Prine, and Andrew Bird. This rare performance by the duo marks their first time back at Martyrs' in 20 years!
