More than a decade since their 2009 formation by Miles Francis, EMEFE still holds the title as one of the most exciting live bands to come out of NYC, continually wowing audiences with their mighty horn section and deeply infectious blend of funk, Afrobeat and alt-pop music, and featuring musicians seasoned by years of experience playing alongside Sharon Jones, Antibalas, The Roots, Nile Rodgers and Leon Bridges, to name a few. After countless shows, seven studio releases and a limited edition vinyl pressing of their 2012 classic Good Future (10th Anniversary Reissue), EMEFE has returned to the same studio they had their first rehearsal in eleven years ago - signaling a new era of EMEFE on the horizon.
