Grass Fed Mule

 Grass Fed Mule is a St. Louis based quartet composed of Gerard Erker, Drew Jameson, Matt Flory & Drew Lance. Drawing energy from their river town roots in bluegrass, old-time, blues, indie-folk & jazz, the band’s upbeat shows flood the ears with strong vocal harmonies and instrumental finesse, featuring sounds of claw hammer banjo, harmonica, mandolin & washboard. If you like the sound of bluegrass in a jam, Grass Fed Mule should be sweet to your ears.  Established in 2015, Grass Fed Mule has hit the ground running, playing festivals, touring the midwest & Colorado, and releasing their debut album “Hay Is For Horses”. While the core of the band is a quartet, don’t be surprised if they special guest sit-ins of the most prolific pickers around — GFM has shared the stage with members of Yonder Mountain String Band, Old Salt Union, ClusterPluck, River Bend and many more.
