Despotic Hall of Fame

The Despotic Hall of Fame is the creation of Bill Acuña. He is a songwriter and self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Naperville, IL. He formed the group in 2010 with the intent of writing and recording a broad spectrum of musical styles from Stax-inspired soul to Spanish Tuna, from Brazilian samba to African bikutsi, from Jamaican reggae to delta blues. Drawing upon a large network of Chicago-area musicians, The Despotic Hall of Fame has recorded and released 6 albums.
