AfroZep

AfroZep is a unique, Chicago-based ensemble that performs the music of Led Zeppelin rearranged with African rhythms and embracing an afrobeat aesthetic. Percussionist Marshall Greenhouse first formed the group in 2009. AfroZep quickly gained local and national attention through coast-to-coast tours of venues, universities and festivals. The group has been recognized by both the Chicago Reader and by WXRT for their original and energetic take on Led Zeppelin, earning them Best Led Zeppelin Cover Band of the Year honors. The band has lived up to the hype ever since, consistently bringing an exciting show and audiences who dance to timeless world rhythms while singing along with classic tunes reinterpreted in a way never heard before.
